RAMSTAD COMMONS MISSION STATEMENT
The departments that comprise the Ramstad Commons support students in
their academic pursuits and foster their exploration of personal and
vocational identity in the context of their lives and communities.

The
Ramstad Commons is the collective name for a number of services
available on the first floor of Ramstad Hall. These include: Academic
Advising, Academic Internships, Career Development, Center for Public
Service, Student Employment, and the Volunteer Center. All of these
services are free to enrolled students, so take advantage of what PLU
has to offer!
Services Available
Academic Assistance
- located in the Mortvedt Library, this office provides services
such as one-on-one tutoring, group study sessions, and a variety of
student success workshops.
Academic Internships - Internships are wonderful tools for job-related experience during your time at PLU.
Career Development
- part of the Ramstad Commons, Career Counselors offer students
assistance direcly related to the pursuit of careers after college.
Student Employment
- Whether you are seeking an on-campus, off-campus, or state work study
job, this office can assist you in finding opportunities. Jobs
are posted both in Ramstad 112 and in the hallway just outside the door.
Volunteer Center - located in Ramstad 116, this student run organization provides opportunities to utilize your gifts to help the community.
