Ms.
Dana Duenzen is a College Board* Endorsed Consultant and a
National Leader for the College Board*.
She has been teaching in the public schools for the past thirty-eight years; nineteen years teaching AP* Economics and seventeen years teaching AP* U.S.
History. She has a B.S. degree in Social
Science with a focus in history. Her
Master’s Degree is in American Studies; her thesis, “The Cultural Image of
Femininity and Women In Sports” received national recognition. As a consultant for The College Board, Ms.
Duenzen has been a presenter at many week-end workshops as well as week-long
institutes in the summer. She has taught
an AP* strategies course at the University
of California, Riverside and has been a consultant to
numerous school districts, and individual schools, specializing in Pre-AP*
(Building Success and Vertical Teams).
She has been an AP* U.S. history reader, a Table Leader and is currently serving as Exam Leader. In 1991 and 2003 Ms.
Duenzen was named the Irvine Unified School District High School Teacher of the
Year. She is a founding member of the
faculty at WoodbridgeHigh School in Irvine,
California, where she is
currently teaching.
