AP* Summer Institute

Social Hours - FREE

Social hours will be scheduled daily Monday - Thursday.  This time is for you to relax, socialize with other AP* Summer Institute participants and enjoy some appetizers and beverages.  Please feel free to stop by any time during 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm and stay for as long as you would like.  

Round Table Discussion - FREE

This is an opportunity for a group discussion of current AP topics.  Representatives from around the PLU campus including the School of Education and Office of Admission will also be available to answer questions. 

Ruston Way Trip - FREE SHUTTLE

We will be having a van shuttle to Ruston Way, Tacoma on Tuesday evening.  This is your opportunity to enjoy some of Tacoma's most scenic dining experiences.  Grab a bite to eat or just talk a walk along Ruston way - either way its guaranteed to be a great time!

Space is limited - sign ups will be available during morning and afternoon breaks. 

Downtown Tacoma Trip - FREE SHUTTLE

On Wednesday there will be a van shuttle to downtown Tacoma.  You will have the opportunity to visit the History Museum (free), Museum of Glass ($10) or the Tacoma Art Museum ($6.50) or enjoy a meal at a great downtown restaurant. 

Space is limited - sign ups will be available during morning and afternoon breaks. 

Jazz Under the Stars - FREE

Come enjoy a live concert by an amazing jazz band at PLU's outdoor amphitheater.  Greg Williamson and the Pony Boy Large Ensemble will be performing.  Tours of PLU's observatory will be available after the concert
