Grossklaus Finishes Third in NWC Women’s
Fall Classic

Results
MISSION, Ore. – Pacific Lutheran’s Angela Grossklaus
shot a pair of 82s and finished with a 36-hole total of 164 to place
third in the Northwest Conference Women’s Golf Fall Classic
at Wildhorse Resort Golf Course.
Pacific Lutheran finished with a two-day total of 737, good for
sixth place in the seven-team competition. Pacific University led
the way with a score of 665, followed by Whitworth at 676, George
Fox at 702, Linfield at 712 and Puget Sound at 720. Willamette finished
in seventh, well behind the Lutes, with a score of 848.
Linfield’s Brynn Hurdus was individual medalist with a 36-hole
score of 159, followed by Pacific’s Kelly Hartley at 163.
Hartley led after the first day with an 81, followed by Hurdus and
Grossklaus at 82. Hurdus was one of four players to card a second-round
77. Jasmine Ching from Pacific finished fourth with a 164, followed
by Mariesa Stombaugh from Whitworth with a 165.
Rounding out the PLU scores were Kayla Madsen at 190, Mallory Mueller
at 191, Kindra Stamps at 192, Hilari Haase at 206 and Lauren Emmerson
at 224.
