Jamie Redd, Assistant Coach

Jamie Redd, who set scoring records at the University of Washington before enjoying a three-year WNBA career with the Seattle Storm, is in her second season as a Pacific Lutheran assistant women’s basketball coach.

Redd graduated from Washington in 1999 and left as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 2,027 points. At the time, she was only the seventh player in Pacific-10 Conference history to amass at least 2,000 career points. Redd led the Huskies in scoring all four years and was named first team All-Pac-10 three times. Redd was also named to the USA Basketball Women’s Select Team following her junior season.

Off the hardwood, Redd was a four-year honor roll student and perpetual Scholar-Athlete of the Year at UW, an award recognizing Redd for her outstanding contributions in the classroom and on the court.

Following her storied college career, Redd played for three seasons with the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. She also played professionally for one year in Greece and one year in Israel.

In addition to coaching at Pacific Lutheran, Redd works as a corrections officer for the Washington State Department of Corrections. She also is athletic director for a non-profit organization called Game Time, which provides camps, clinics and motivational speaking for schools and youth organizations.
