Women’s Tennis Outgunned by Lewis
& Clark, 6-3
TACOMA – The Pacific Lutheran women’s tennis team was
defeated by Lewis & Clark, 6-3, in a Northwest Conference match
played today at the Puget Sound tennis pavilion.
Esther Ham defeated Mika Yokoyama, 6-4, 6-1, in the number five
singles spot. Ham teamed up with Deanna Ellmer to win the Lutes
only doubles match after they beat Teresa Kiemnce and Paige Earhart,
8-6.
Ashley Brooks was the other singles winner for the Lutes. Brooks
defeated Maggie Peach in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
Pacific Lutheran drops to 1-1 on the season.
