Change of Business

No matter where you go there is always ethics.  The Business world in particular has been changing extremely fast from new Ethical standards being set.  Especially the Accounting and Finance department in businesses and companies several government laws and regulations are adding pressure to the employees and workers, in order to make sure they are practicing good ethics.

Laws & Ethics

When I took my Business Law and Ethics courses it gave me a better idea how large and big of an issue ethics are in business.  Being in the Finance and Accounting world there are many laws that I will need to make sure I memorize as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).  When I listened to some guest speakers  talk about their jobs in the accounting firms and businesses ever since Enron happened; they explained the drastic changes from before and after the Sarbanes-Oxely Act (SOX).

The BUSA 304 focuses more on legal aspects, while several of the other business courses are integrated with ethical situations and decisions people need to make on a daily basis.
