Taking the initiative

Ever since I was in High School I dealt with various groups, clubs, and organizations that I had to take the initiative and manage change.  I was the person who helped recruit over 20 people for the Olympic College International Honor Society chapter.  My friends and I managed to even get a great majority of the chapter to become more involved with their college education community.  Our chapter was able to fund raise enough money to where almost all the officers were able to attend the Regional meeting that year. I could not believe how I also encouraged others to become officers and recruit more members for the future years to come.
