There is so many ways that technology changes todays world and business, which helps in varies ways.  Just to name some of the ways: from advancing in the latest methods of possibly finding a cure for some type of disease, medical issue, or problem, to finding the best way in making a business become more effective and efficient in order to gain its profits.  Technology changes constantly all the time.

Student use of Technology

So there is no doubt about trying to run away from technology, because it is part of what people have to deal on a regular basis at work.  Especially in the business world, there are several programs that need to be used.  In my particular area of specialty  which is finance and accounting the technological advancements help make calculations easier in order to do taxes and organized people's finances.  I took a computer course CSCE 120: Computerized Information Systems at PLU that helped me learn the basics that an average person needs to know for simple tasks on a computer.  I learned how to create a web page with the HTML, Power Point, Excel, and Word.
