Bruce Finnie, Associate
Professor of Finance, teaches investments, corporate finance, and
financial research in the B.A. and M.B.A. programs. His specialties
include market research and policy analysis, conflict resolution,
financial feasibility, and simulation modeling. He has done extensive
consulting in both corporate and government environments, and for eight
years was consulting partner in two northwest firms specializing in
economic and environmental policy analysis. He has held various
appointments in state government (MT & MN), testified before
numerous state and federal commissions, agencies and courts, and been a
Faculty Fellow at The Boeing Company.
His research and
consulting interests, presentations and publications for the past few
years have focused on organizational efficiency, economic growth, and
environmental risk management. [Ph.D. in Economics, University of

Bruce and his wife enjoy gardening, hiking, and skiing. They presently have four cats, two llamas, and one dog of unknown origin. Their four-acre “farm” overlooks Mt. Ranier, from an 18 mile distance.
