Professor
of Marketing, David E. McNabb, is renewing his career with the PLU
School of Business that bean in 1979. He joined PLU immediately after
completing his Ph.D. work at Oregon State University. he received his
B.A. in language arts and marketing at California State
College-Fullerton and his M.A. in persuasive communications at the
University of Washington. He complete post-doctoral studies at the
University of Washington and the Thunderbird Graduate School in
Arizona.
Professor McNabb's international teaching
experience is extensive and varied. He has taught in France, Bulgaria,
England, Belgium, Germany and Italy. He has also served as a member of
the faculty in the Paster's of Public Administration program at
Evergreen State College in Olympia.
More than forty articles and conference proceedings papers have been
written, the majority of which have been collaborations with other PLU
Business School Faculty. His first published book, Research Methods for Public Administration and Nonproft Organizations,
received the 2004 Outstanding Published Scholarship Award from the
Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). His second
book, Research Methods in Political Science, was published in July 2004. His third book, Public Utilities: Management Challenges for the 21st Century, will be published in July 2005. He is currently working on a fourth book in the field of knowledge management.
Professor McNabb was inducted into Who's Who in America in 2004.
