Andy Turner Appointed Dean
The
School of Business welcomes back Dr. Andy Turner, a former PLU
student and professor, as the dean for the School. Turner
officially started June 1 kicking off his innovative agenda of further
strengthening the School of Business reputation through student
achievement, alumni participation and corporate support.
"As
a former student and faculty member, I am excited to return to the
University as Dean of the School of Business. The liberal arts
education I received at PLU led me to a fine graduate school and
propelled me to success in my commercial life. Although PLU is
relatively unknown on the national stage, I would stack the quality of
education here against any school in the country. With that view
in mind, my goal for the School of Business is to become the best small
business school in the West. That won't happen overnight, but we
can make tremendous progress over the next five years. I'm looking
forward to that opportunity."
