PLU has purchased the rights to provide anti-virus software to those members of the PLU community who need to connect computers to the PLU network. You will need to visit this page each year and update your subscription to maintain consistent protection for your computer.
Renewing your Trend anti-virus subscription:
You'll need to get a new code (step 3 below) and download the current version of the software (step 4 below). The new serial number will not work with last year's version of the software. If you're new to PLU's network:
What you need to do if you have a Windows computer:
- If you have an existing anti-virus program on your computer, you don't need to do anything further except to make sure that your anti-virus definitions are regularly updated. You can set your program to do this automatically.
- If you have an existing anti-virus program but would prefer to use PLU's FREE program offer, uninstall your existing program before proceeding.
- Before downloading the software, get your serial number here
- Download the program by clicking on the "Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 [PC-cillin]" link at Trendmicro
- If you have problems with the download or installation, click on the "Support" tab at the top of the Trendmicro page.
What you need to do if you have an Apple computer:
- Follow steps 1 and 2 above
