Webmail Comparison

How does the new webmail system compare to the old?

The table below shows a comparison of some of the features between the old and new Webmail interface:

Old Webmail Problems
New Webmail
Login failed when there are too many users on the system.
No login limits are being imposed due to improvements in the system.
Login time-out is too fast.  Often have to re-login after writing longer emails.
No idle or session time-outs for the new Webmail.
Emails are missing usually when I just close the browser window rather than using the logout button.
You can log out or just close the browser.  It won't affect your next login at all like it has in the past.
Address book is confusing and not easy to use.  There is no easy way to create mailing lists.
A much improved address book interface.  Mailing lists can be created as lists of addresses under one nickname.
The folder system is not easy to use
Easy-to-use Webmail folder interface that is much more like other e-mail programs such as Thunderbird.
Sometimes the items in my "sent" folder disappear after only a couple of days.
There are no time or space limits on the "Sent" folder any different than other folders.
I haven't seen a "Rules" feature to automatically route the e-mails to a certain folder.
Full featured filtering is available to put messages into folders based on subject or destination.
