Pacific Lutheran Univeristy Democrats

The Purpose of the PLU Democrats as stated in our club's constitution:

  Pacific Lutheran University Democrats pledges itself to support the philosophy of the
Democratic Party and to increase the participation of college students in Democratic affairs. 
To these ends, the PLU Democrats shall strive to assure that members are better able to:

1. Educate students about the philosophy of the Democratic Party.
2. Assist in the election of local, state, and national Democratic candidates.
3.  Affect political change on the local, state, and national levels.

Additionally we strive to assist community members and college students understand and become more informed on current political issues.  We believe by engaging the political process all individuals can be empowered one vote at a time.
