The Kelley Café is nestled in the southeast corner of PLU’s Morken Center for Learning and
Technology. Made possible, in part, by donations from Estelle and Colleen Kelley, the Café nourishes
the mind with a flavorful casual fare and inspires community fellowship with unique and delicious baked
goods.
It is not by luck, but by design, that The Kelley Cafe exists in a LEED certified “green building.”
Inspired by the principles of sustainability and the dedication of the individuals who made this building
possible, we reclaimed computer boards for the design of our signage and found local suppliers and
ingredients when creating our menu.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, we realize the importance of building a sustainable future. Globally,
technology is uniting countries, consumers and communities at an astonishing pace and we are here to
utilize both to serve you in this amazing building. More than 75 percent of the products used in the
construction of the Morken Center originate within a 500-mile radius and at The Kelley Café we strive
to bring you the best locally grown, organically processed and great tasting products. We look forward
to serving you.
