Brief Biography

Paul Nelson has been in education for forty-six years as an elementary teacher and professor in elementary and teacher education. With degrees from Northern Illinois, Northwestern University, and the University of Illinois, and teaching posts in Illinois and Connecticut as well as at Ohio University, Florida State University, Zayed University, Saint Martin's University, Bilkent University, and now Pacific Lutheran University, Dr. Nelson has been privileged with rich and exciting experiences. His interests are life styles, supports and spaces in curriculum with emphasis on intercultural and intercultural perspectives, qualitative story telling, and experiential education.
