For over 25 years, PLU's minor in Publishing and Printing Arts (PPA)
has offered interested students an interdisciplinary introduction to the
world of publishing. One of the only such programs offered at the
undergraduate level, PPA is an exciting, interdisciplinary minor housed
in the PLU English Department. The
PPA program is highly respected by employers for its combination of
pre-professional skills and solid liberal arts education.
PPA minors explore the ethical, cultural,
and commercial issues confronting readers, writers, editors,
publishers, booksellers, librarians, teachers, and all who value the
written word. But PPA also offers
students solid pre-professional skills, and each year our active
internship program helps launch students into publishing-related careers
across the country.

description of the PPA program and learn more about its specific
