Sequalitchew Creek Watershed Project

Sequalitchew Creek flows three miles from Sequalitchew Lake on Fort Lewis, through the City of DuPont, into the southern portion of Puget Sound. The watershed is small, but on the verge of rapid development as a planned community that includes residential, commercial and industrial land use.

For the past two years, students from the Environmental Studies Program at Pacific Lutheran University have participated in an ongoing study of the health of the watershed. This web site was established to share some of the information gathered during the study and to provide the community with links to resources about the watershed.
