Conferences & Events

Office of Conferences & Events

This site is your source for planning internal events for PLU students/faculty/staff, as well as for accessing information on policies, timelines and service providers.

Located in the University Center, Conferences & Events assists the University and external clients in providing facilities and services for events.

During the academic year, PLU offers facilities to educational, religious, and community events. Many community services and agencies use PLU as a site for community and academic training. We've assisted in events for U.S. Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Senators, Members of Congress, and State and Local Legislators. Community outreach programs have held training sessions for Dementia and Alzheimer caregivers. School Districts have hosted annual training in-service days, and local organizations have hosted community banquets and awards ceremonies.

During the summer, PLU becomes hosts summer educational programs, athletic camps, local and international conferences, and diverse entertainment.

Over 25,000 people come to PLU to learn, grow, and experience our campus each summer. Most of our guests stay in our residence halls and dine in our cafeteria.

Experiencing PLU through Conferences and Events connects PLU's academic excellence and life-long learning philosophy to alumni, current and future, and the local and global community.
