The University Scholars Association, a private association of
employees of Pacific Lutheran
University, exists to serve the educational aims of the University.
The USA promotes interdisciplinary communication and collegial
interactions; it fosters deep appreciation of academic values in the
world community. Membership is open to employees of Pacific
Lutheran University who
 | are eligible for PLU benefits, and |
 | are regularly scheduled employees who work
half time or more, and |
 | whose position is expected to last six months
or longer. |

The USA "home" is the Faculty House, located on 121st Street,
across from the Hauge Administration Building. We have a variety
of services available

Association is a private, not-for-profit, voluntary educational association which is
legally, organizationally, and financially independent of Pacific Lutheran
University. Under the Association's bylaws, membership is open to all
benefits-eligible PLU employees who work half time or greater, and whose
appointment is for 6 months or more. We are not a collective bargaining agent
for the faculty or staff and we do not take stands on University administrative or
academic issues.
