Master of Arts in Education


The Master of Arts in Education meets the needs of educators by offering two concentrations and a certification program:

  • Graduate Application (On-line | Print)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended.  Transcripts must be sent directly from the school to PLU.
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Goals (300-400 words)- not required for principal certification
  • Current Resume
  • Official GRE scores
  • Official WEST-B scores (for MA with Residency Certification only)
  • Official WEST-E scores (for MA with Residency Certification only)
  • International Students only:  official TOEFL scores


Note: For Principal Certification, applicants must have successfully completed a master’s degree prior to enrollment. Request official transcripts from all previous colleges or universities in which you have earned master and/or graduate credits.  There is no GRE or equivalent exam required for this program.
