Monday. 21st
  • Pierce Transit Bus Workshop
    • Actual BUS in front of Xavier 11:00am - 12:30pm
    • Presentation in UC 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Tuesday, 22nd Earth Day!
  • GREAN pass out Earth Day Buttons
  • Mary Oliver. 7:30 – 9:30pm

Wednesday, 23rd
  •  2nd Hand Clothes Day.
    o GREAN pass out stickers to those wearing 2nd hand clothes.
  • Inconvenient Truth Showing

Thursday, 24th
· Bike Day
o 11am – noon: Firefighters selling helmets; Jim Couch answers bike questions in Red Square
o Bike parade: 11:40am – Noon
o Drew Romberg’s bike workshop. 7:00pm – 8:30pm UCTR 201


Bike Day: Thursday, April 24th

From 11:00 am to noon, the Pierce County Fire Department will be selling fitted helmets for $6.00 in Red Square. Jim Couch of Spoke and Sprocket bike shop will be on hand for the hour to answer any questions you may have about bicycles and fit you for a bike.

Join us for a 15 minute bike ride on the Lute Loop from 11:40 am to noon to end the festivities in Red Square.

That night at 7pm in University Center room 201, Drew Romberg will hold a workshop on how to purchase, properly ride, and maintain your bicycle.
