Spring 2008:David Larsen
J-Term 2008:Jani Raikunen
Rules
Each participant will be assigned a Target to assassinate with a
rolled/balled up CLEAN sock (which MAY NOT contain other
objects). The objective is not pain, but stealthy assassination. The
Sock must be thrown through the air to hit the target. Only contact
between the sock and the Target as a result of an airborne launched or
thrown attack counts as a success, at which point the Assassin will be
assigned the Target’s previous Target.
An assassination attempt will only be counted a success if there are no
witnesses of the contact between sock and Target. A witnessed
attempt counts as a failure and warns the Target, so be stealthy! This
does mean, however, that a Target can be assassinated while in the
midst of other people, as long as the actual contact of sock and Target
is not witnessed by people other than the Assassin and the Target.
There are certain Safe Zones, in which a Target may not be
assassinated. Any attempt to assassinate a Front Desk Worker during
their shift at the Desk will be counted as an automatic failure (they
are, however, fair game once their shift ends). All Bathrooms also
count as Safe Zones, in which all assassination attempts will be
counted automatic failures (naked assassinations are rude). A Target
may be assassinated, however, on the way to or from the bathroom.
Resident’s rooms are also Safe Zones, in which no Target may be
assassinated (even if it is not the Target’s room).
ALL ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS THAT TAKE PLACE
OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENCE HALL COUNT AS AUTOMATIC
FAILURES. Please respect the other members of our campus or those
studying in the Library or other areas.
Target assignments will be placed in your mailbox. Check it regularly.
