Responsibilities
- Applicants should be able to provide instruction at the undergraduate level across a range of accounting courses including and provide generalist MBA accounting instruction.
- Potential for future leadership opportunities.
The School’s BBA and MBA programs have been continuously
accredited by AACSB-International since 1971 and 1975, respectively, and its
Professional Accounting program since 1982. The faculty and staff seek to advance
the University’s “PLU 2010” Vision of academic distinction through enhanced
global focus, student-faculty collaboration in research and service projects,
and by helping students find their own paths to meaningful as well as
successful lives. The School has an
explicit teaching mission with the goal of producing graduates with both the

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Accounting.
- We seek collegial faculty who view themselves
foremost as educators and possess a commitment to scholarship to inform
their teaching.
- Qualified in accordance with our AACSB International accreditation.
- Professional certification is desired.
- Secondary strengths in finance or information systems preferred.
- Scholarly interest in the global, ethical and/or technological dimensions of accounting is a distinct plus for a candidate.
- Corporate and international experience preferred.
