Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure track position; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + benefits package.

Responsibilities
  1. The successful candidate should be qualified to teach theory (classical and contemporary), social stratification, and introduction to sociology.  Additional courses should broaden and complement existing departmental course offerings.
  2. Opportunities also exist for faculty to participate in courses in the first-year experience program, women’s and gender studies, global education, or other interdisciplinary programs.
  3. Commitment to effective teaching at the undergraduate level is required.
