Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure track position; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + benefits package.
Responsibilities
Responsible for teaching in the BSN and/or MSN Nursing programs; student advising; ensuring programs meet university, professional, and accreditation standards; and curriculum development in a School of Nursing with over 350 full-time undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
Potential for developing a program of scholarship and/or student-faculty research.
Level of professional
leadership and visibility through professional accomplishment in one's
specialty, excellent teaching, and commitment to service.
Qualifications
Advanced nursing degree and doctorate in nursing or related field (Ph.D., Clinical Doctorate, DNP, DNSc, DNS, DSN, Dr.P.H, or Ed.D).
Must be eligible for Washington State RN licensure.
Evidence of scholarship and teaching potential.
Advanced practice experience highly desirable.
Student-centered, professionally oriented, committed to scholarship, independently write and edit at a graduate level, and effective in both new and established clinical settings with students and agency personnel.
Both new doctorates and experienced doctorates with specialization in gerontology are encouraged to apply.
