FT; Sunday - Thursday, 11:00am - 7:30pm; schedule may vary

General Description

Maintains positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. Supports the Managers and Supervisors in maintaining department and university quality standards, including supervising and motivating reporting staff and team members. Reports to the Culinary Operations Manager.

Required Qualifications
  1. 1 ½ years professional kitchen experience. Graduation from a professional culinary training program may substitute for some experience.
  2. Successful supervisory and management experience.
  3. High School Diploma or GED.
  4. High standard of personal hygiene.
  5. Must possess a Washington State Food Handler's permit. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
  6. Finalist candidates must successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and criminal background check.  If applicable, pass PLU’s Driver’s Certification Training and provide an original copy of Driving Record (5yr Employment Abstract).
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Working knowledge of computer programs.
  2. Associate degree in culinary arts or bachelors’ degree in hospitality management or related field.
