Rank and Salary

Visiting Assistant Professor, full-time appointment for the 2008-2009 academic year, non-tenure track position; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Teaching responsibilities primarily in lower division chemistry lecture and laboratory courses, including a GOB (general-organic-biochemistry) course and potentially organic chemistry laboratory. 

The department (http://www.chem.plu.edu) offers ACS certified degrees.  Equipment includes FTNMR, MALDI-TOF MS, AFM, GC/MS, HPLC, FTIR, Raman, UV/VIS, ICP-AES, and a variety of computational chemistry software. 

Qualifications

•    Ph.D. or M.S. and college-level teaching experience preferred.
