The Academic Internship Office’s primary function is to help students find quality learning experiences in internships that will help enrich their studies and introduce them to their possible career field.We also work with employers and academic departments to assure appropriate, high quality experiences both as learning experiences and as valuable, productive workers; a true introduction to a career field.

Mission Statements

Our mission is to:

• assist students in finding appropriate employers and positions that will help meet their career goals.
• assist employers in attracting qualified candidates for their positions.
• sponsor employer campus visits for information sessions and interview schedules.
• support faculty in monitoring the success of their students while on their Academic Internship and Co-op experiences and help address any problems that arise.
