Brian Kunst is a learner.
A recent University of Puget Sound graduate with a major in history (East Asian and 20th-century U.S.) and a minor in computer science, Brian is thinking of one day taking up graduate study in information science. As an undergraduate, he worked through the huge learning curve that came with moving from a job in student services to one in technology help and computer programming. And now he works as an assistant systems administrator in Computing & Telecommunication Services, where the work is constantly changing and the only way to survive is to learn continuously.
Well, okay, his life isn’t entirely learning. Now that he can let up a bit on the studies, he’s reading more fiction, camping (he and his family were very active in the Boy Scouts), and listening to cutting edge electronic music.
So Brian now is learning how to seek balance in his life, and just what may be the passions around which he should shape his future.
