Field Trips

This is an example of an field trip page. You might include local or worldwide online excursions. You could also post field trip information handouts for non-virtual field trips.
Visit at Least One Library Workstation with Web Production Tools

Objective: Identify what hardware and software resources for web page production are available in the library.

Select one of the following:

Language Resource Center Presentation Macintosh at front of room
Hardware: HP ScanJet flatbed scanner, sound and video capture
Software: PhotoShop and PhotoDeluxe imaging software, OmniScan Lite optical character recognition (OCR) software, PowerPoint presentation software, Word word processor, and VideoShop movie software.

Media Production Macintosh #2
Hardware: LaCie flatbed scanner
Software: PhotoShop and PhotoDeluxe imaging software, PowerPoint presentation software, and Word word processor.

Webmaster's PC in Media Offices
Software: PhotoShop imaging software, PowerPoint presentation software, Office 97 productivity software, FrontPage and Publisher for page production.

Graphics Macintosh in Media Offices
Hardware: HP flatbed scanner, Nikon slide scanner.
Software: PhotoShop imaging software, PowerPoint presentation software, Premiere movie making tool, and Word word processor.

Virtually Visit Sites with Course Pages

Objective: Collect samples of the kinds of course materials available on the web.
