Housing & Meal Plan Contract - When you sign your housing contract, you are also signing up for the meal plan The Lute Choice .   If that's okay with you - you're done and you don't have to do anything else. However, there are other options for meals and if you'd rather have one of them you'll need to also complete an 2008-2009 Optional Meal Plan Contract. Links to both the Housing & Meal Plan Contract and the Optional Meal Plan Contract are above. They are legally binding contracts, so read them carefully before you submit them.
Canceling Housing - If you're eligible and you've decided to live off-campus before the Fall Housing Fair in November, you must notify Residential Life by email or in writing. (Remember-there may be penalties) They'll need your full name and your PLU ID number and  a short message such as  "I won't be on campus fall 2008". If you are living on campus, be sure you check out of your room with your hall staff. Refunds are based on the day you sign your Room Condition Report (RCR). RLO will forward the information to the LuteCard Office and your meal plan will be canceled.
Leaving PLU The first thing to do is to make sure you've taken advantage of all the support PLU can give to help you stay. Visit the Student Services (Hauge Administration Building) Office for advice on which offices might be able to help. If you still decide you must leave, complete an Official Withdraw Form with the Student Services Counselor. If you are living on campus, be sure you check out of your room with your hall staff. Refunds are based on the day you sign your Room Condition Report (RCR). Your withdrawal information is forwarded to the Residential Life Office and the LuteCard Office (and other offices needing the information) so any refund can be processed.
