Housing Contract & Meal Plans

Meal plan contracts for residential students are now linked to the housing contract.   Meal Plans can be changed up to 5:00 p.m. the day before meals begin each semester.

 Summer Meals

Summer School Residents do not have to have a meal plan.
Beginning in Summer 2008, there all no All-You-Care-to-Eat meals during the summer.
All summer meals are Ala Carte'.
Meal items can be purchased at Dining and Culinary Services venues with cash, bank cards, Dining Dollars and LuteBuck$.
Dining Dollars purchased during the summer will not expire until May 24, 2008.

J-Term Meal Plans

If you live on-campus during J-term, you must have a meal plan just like Fall and Spring Semesters.

If you were living on-campus during Fall, and are planning to live off-campus for J-term, you will still have a housing assignment and meal plan for J-term until you cancel it through Residential Life. E-mail RLIF or submit your request in writing to the RLIF Office. 


An ePass is required to sign your Housing & Meal Plan Contract. It's simple at https://www.plu.edu/tools/epass_request.php

There's now FOUR meal plans to choose from? Including one called the MEGA.

There's a meal plan designed just for students studying abroad during J-Term.

Both Kreidler and South Hall Residents can choose the PLU Block Meal Plan.

If you run out of Dining Dollars - you can add LuteBuck$ to your LuteCard account and use them for Dining.

Meal Plans (nor housing) are not required during the Summer.
