May 5 marks the dedication of the Morken Center for Learning and
Technology, an integrated learning environment for math, computer
science, computer engineering and business at Pacific Lutheran
University. PLU is proud that the Morken Center is one of the Pacific
Northwest’s most environmentally friendly university buildings, and is
in the process of being certified by LEED, or Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design.
The dedication and convocation on May 5 will consist of an address by Clinton-administration secretary of labor Robert B. Reich. Mr. Reich, now a professor of public policy at the University of California at Berkeley, will deliver an address entitled “The Truth About Globalization.”
