Meant to Live

Meant To Live  What's Your Story?

The Wild Hope Project at Pacific Lutheran University challenges students to ask, "What will you do with your wild and precious life?"  Funded by the Lilly Endowment, it nurtures students as they grapple with big enough questions for their lives.

Within the Wild Hope Project, a unique student led gathering named Meant To Live brings together persons from all walks of life to share with students their stories of what has brought deep meaning and purpose to their lives.

About the Event

MTL posterMusicians, performers, activists, professionals, and intellectuals of a variety of sorts come to campus for two days of exciting, exploratory, and at times intense conversation with students about the events, passions, and interests that have brought them to where they are, and what this means both for them and for the world.

We are all born with two special characteristics in life with a unique combination of passions and interests, and with an ability to affect the world. The event encourages students to live a life of passion, courageous action and exploration of their greatest sense of vocation.
