Welcome to my Web site. I have been a professor in the School of Business here at PLU since 1982. The courses I teach reflect my primary academic interests: cost and managerial accounting, information systems and information technology. I have a long term interest in technology applications in the classroom, especially in the use of spreadsheet modeling in cost and managerial accounting. My technology interests have expanded to include use of the Web and Internet as communication and research tools. Since 1996, I have been heavily involved in a School of Business initiative to improve assessment of student learning.
