Located in Centennial (Red) Square, across from Eastvold Chapel, stands Pacific Lutheran University’s Centennial Bell. This piece of art was a birthday gift from the former President and Mrs. William O. Rieke in honor of PLU’s 100th birthday.
Tom Torrens is the artist responsible for the bell’s creation. The piece was dedicated on May 27th, 1990.
