Parents support Q Club
PLU
is committed to creating an environment devoted to teaching and service
that is worthy of your trust. The university also makes every effort to
hold down the cost of your student’s education.
Did you know that the true cost of educating a student at PLU is
approximately $6,000 more than what is asked in tuition? This discount
is applied to all students and is made possible by annual gifts from
alumni, friends and people like you, the parents of its students.
Q Club is a legacy at PLU. It is the university’s annual fund to
support quality education. Gifts to Q Club fund essential financial
aid, strengthen academic programs and support dedicated faculty. Q Club
enriches the entire PLU experience in which your student will
participate during his/her years at PLU.
Bruce and Vicki Yoder serve on the Parents Council. Parents of Kevin,
now a senior slated to graduate in May, they are showing their thanks
by making a gift and volunteering this year to lead the Parents
Council’s Q Club fund drive.
Last year, nearly 1,000 PLU parents made a tax-deductible gift to the
university. During the year you will be contacted and asked to
thoughtfully consider supporting PLU.
The PLU Parents' Council, sponsored by the
Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, is comprised of parents of
full-time undergraduate students at PLU. To find out how you can become
involved, contact the Office Alumni and Parent Relations.
