Relay for Life will be happening for the second time at PLU this year! Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society that happens in communities and at universities around the country.
Last year we raised over $42,000… this year’s goal is $60,000!
April 20 - 21, 2007 (7pm-11am)
There are several ways you can participate with us:
Participate on a relay team! Check with your student, he or she may be on a team that is looking for more members. Teams are made up of 8-15 friends, family, students, staff & faculty who fundraise and walk through the night.
Make a donation! You can donate to the American Cancer Society in the name of PLU’s Relay online. You may either make a general donation or donate to a specific team. Donate Now »
Walk in the Survivor Lap! Cancer Survivors and Caregivers are invited to be honored by walking the very first lap of the relay. Please e-mail if you would like to participate or if you would like us to contact a Survivor on your behalf.
Sponsor PLU’s relay! Our hope is to produce an event without costs, so we are looking for business and individuals who are interested in sponsoring through monetary or in-kind donations. Please email for more information about sponsorship opportunities.
