On-campus housing for 2007-2008
It's
already that time of year for your son/daughter to begin thinking about
their housing options for the 2007-2008 school year. Below are three
different options for them to consider. The PLU on-campus living
experience isn't just about a place to sleep, for PLU students it's
also their home. It is a great place to live, learn, lead and make
friendships that will last a lifetime.
South Hall (Apartment-Style Housing Option)
South Hall is our only non-traditional, apartment-style residence hall
option available to our students. Students must be at least 20 years
old or Junior standing by September 1, 2007 and have a good record with
the University's Student Conduct System in order to be eligible to live
in South Hall.
2007 - 2008 South Hall housing applications, housing guides, and contracts are available on January 17th at the Residential Life office (Harstad 105) and
at the South Hall front desk. To be considered using one's priority
points, applications must be turned in to the Residential Life office no later than 5:00pm, Wednesday, February 21st.
Applications received after this date, will be taken in the order they
are submitted to the office. Students applying for multi-bedroom
apartments must each fill out a separate application and submit it by
this deadline for consideration. Current South Hall residents wishing
to return to South Hall, must reapply by the same deadline.
Students are notified of their acceptance into South Hall and/or their
waitlist standing, by reviewing the posting found on the Residential
Life web page. Initial results will be posted by 5:00pm, Wednesday, February 28th. Results are updated on the 15th of each
month through August 15th. A PLU e-pass is required to access this
information.

2007-2008 rates.
Traditional Style Residence Halls Students
wishing to live on-campus in one of the nine traditional-style
residence halls, can do so April 11th - 13th. There are a variety of
unique options available for your son/daughter to consider when applying:
More information about the application process will be
available in March. At this time, information about summer housing will
also be available.
Off-Campus Resources Residential Life has a binder of
local off-campus housing options. Students are welcome to stop by the
office to look at the binder. The Residential Life Office is located in
Harstad 105, and is opened Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This
binder is updated regularly, as listings are submitted.
