Sara Burkes # 17 |
Sara is currently a Senior at PLU
this year, and is scheduled to graduate from PLU this August. She graduated from Satellite High School in
2002. Sara is looking at a double major in Global Studies and Communication. Sara is also double minoring in Women's Studies and music.
She hopes to go teach women how to communicate with music across the globe, with the help of her goat Gilbert. We hope that she quits being a smart alec. :) This is Sara's third season wearing the lute gold and black jersey, however Sara has been involved with the PLU women's lacrosse team for four seasons. Sara took the Spring 2005 season off of lacrosse when she studied abroad in England. Sara has the lacrosse experience of three years for the lutes and has played everything from goalie to point, to coverpoint to 3rd man. In the 2003 season, Sara won MVP defense and in the 2004 season, Sara was voted the league All Star.
