Emily is currently a Junior at PLU
this year, and is scheduled to graduate from PLU
in 2009. She graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Portland OR in
2005. Emily is majoring in elementary education with hopes of becoming a 2nd or 3rd grade teacher.
This is Emily's third season wearing the lute gold and black jersey,
however, Emily has had four years of lacrosse experience in high schoolplaying
A-wing and D-wing. In high-school Emily was voted All State Honorable Mention for the 2005 season, and was an academic All American in 2004 and 2005. Emily was also voted MIP in 2004 and MVP in 2005. In 2004 Emily had the chance to play on the Oregon All State Lacrosse Team on which she got to travel to Colorado and play in the Vale tournament with teams across the nation. Finally, in 2005 Emily was given the All-American Honorable mention award in lacrosse. At PLU Emily is very involved with lacrosse and refereeing around the Tacoma area. She is entering her second year as a co-captain for the team and hopes to bring the team to a fourth year at championships.
