Faculty Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes
February 7, 2006

Business:
- The
minutes of December 1, 2005 and December 15, 2005 were unanimously
approved.
- Faculty
Survey: The committee discussed and made more changes to the Faculty
Survey draft. If you have any final comments, please e-mail them to A.
Leon-Guerrero, by Tuesday, February 14th, 2006.
- Faculty
Compensation Data Review: The committee discussed some of the data received.
We need to anticipate developing a formula for analyzing this data.
- EPC
Charge for FAC: FAC will confirm with EPC that it received the memo on
independent studies that was produced and sent last year. FAC will also
seek more clarification from EPC regarding expectations before developing
recommendations.
- Benefits:
Teri Phillips joined the meeting to discuss possible future changes to the
benefits offerings. For next year, HSA’s will not come into effect as the
premiums would be too high.

9th, 2:30-3:30 pm in the President’s Conference Room.
