Faculty Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes

March 28, 2006

Present: A. Leon-Guerrero, R. Kaufman, J. Hasty, A. Batten

Regrets: R. McKenney, D. Harney

Business:

1. The committee met with Keith Cooper, chair of EPC, regarding EPC’s charge to FAC. FAC will further discuss the issue and gather more data.
2. The committee met with Erin McKenna, incoming Faculty Chair, to discuss the Fall Conference. Preliminary planning is underway.
3. The committee discussed and revised the memorandum regarding overall faculty welfare. Anna will seek feedback from “Wild Hope” leaders before distributing the memo to the appropriate parties.

Next Meeting: April 4, 1:45-3:30 pm in the President’s Conference Room.
