Faculty Affairs Committee Meeting

Present: R. Byrnes, S. Starkovich, W. Shore, M. Ellard-Ivey, A. Leon-Guerrero, R. Kaufman

Guest: Patricia Killen

Business:

1. The committee met with Provost Killen to talk about the draft of the Philosophy of Compensation. Patricia suggested that we include in the preamble another paragraph that would make clear the work that faculty do. We talked about the importance of identifying our peer institutions and agreed that ways of identifying those schools would be part of the second, strategic document.
