Faculty Affairs Committee Minutes

April 25, 2005

Faculty committee members (Diane, Dane, Tamara, Greg, Marilyn, Kate, Tony) convened at 5:00 PM in the President’s Conference Room.

1. April 18^th minutes were approved as revised, will be sent to Diane for posting.

2. FAC committee read, discussed and suggested revisions to Greg’s Recommendation Concerning Independent Studies memo. Final draft is forthcoming next meeting.

3. FAC committee discussed Diane’s Proposal for 2005 Fall Conference proposal. Additional options to accommodate interdisciplinary program planning during fall faculty conference were discussed, with Tamara and Diane drafting a revision for next FAC meeting. Diane will meet with the President, Provost, and Laura Polycn re fall conference next week.

4. The Provost will be invited to attend the next FAC meeting.
