CARNEGIE JUNIOR FELLOWS PROGRAM

Deadline: Jan. 15, each year Each year the Endowment offers 8-10 one-year fellowships to uniquely qualified graduating seniors and individuals who have graduated during the past academic year. They are selected from a pool of nominees from close to 300 colleges. Carnegie Junior Fellows work as research assistants to the Endowment's senior associates.

The Coro Fellows Program is the most long-standing and well known of the Coro programs. It is an intensive nine-month, full-time, graduate-level program. Unconventional by traditional academic standards, the program is rigorous and demanding, and is an unparalleled opportunity for personal and professional growth. Each year, after a rigorous national selection process, sixty-four Coro Fellows are chosen from across the country to serve as Coro Fellows at one of the following Coro Centers: Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and St. Louis.”

NSEP Boren Fellowships support students pursuing the study of languages, cultures, and world regions that are critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East). Study of the countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand is excluded.

The Davies-Jackson Scholarship is a full, two-year scholarship at St. John’s College, Cambridge, England. The Davies-Jackson Scholarship is intended for graduating seniors, who are able to demonstrate significant achievement in the liberal arts. This opportunity is specifically designed for students who are among the first in their family to graduate from college. After two years of study, candidates are awarded a Cambridge B.A. degree, often referred to as the Cantab degree, which is the equivalent of a master’s degree in the U.S.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships are full-cost awards for graduate and affiliated study in Cambridge. The Scholarships are awarded competitively to students from all countries in the world except the UK. The award of a Scholarship is absolutely conditional on the student gaining admission to Cambridge through the University's regular procedures. The Scholars engage in full-time intensive academic work while studying in Cambridge. The Scholars become fully integrated into the University and its Colleges and, on graduation, they join Cambridge's widespread alumni network.”

“The US-Ireland Alliance sponsors a competitive, national scholarship for graduate study by American citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 at institutions of higher learning on the island of Ireland. Mitchell Scholarships are intended to familiarize and connect the next generation of American leadership with the island of Ireland.”

“Junior Fellowships are awarded to students who are about to complete, or have completed, their undergraduate course of study and plan to begin graduate work on a full-time basis. Junior Fellows have two years to complete their degree. Senior Fellowships are awarded to teachers who wish to undertake work for a graduate degree on a part-time basis through summer and evening classes. Senior Fellows have up to five years to complete their degree.”


JEANNE SUAVE FOUNDATION PROGRAM

"The Program provides an opportunity for up to fourteen young leaders from all over the world to spend eight months in Montreal attending courses at McGill University, to enlarge upon their understanding of the state of the world and thier roles in making positive change. The purpose of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is to provide opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished New Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields.
