Gates Cambridge Scholarships are full-cost awards for graduate and affiliated study in Cambridge. The Scholarships are awarded competitively to students from all countries in the world except the UK. The award of a Scholarship is absolutely conditional on the student gaining admission to Cambridge through the University's regular procedures. The Scholars engage in full-time intensive academic work while studying in Cambridge. The Scholars become fully integrated into the University and its Colleges and, on graduation, they join Cambridge's widespread alumni network.”

Harry S. Truman Scholarship

The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields.  Students must be college juniors at the time of selection.  The Foundation also provides assistance with career counseling, internship placement, graduate school admissions, and professional development.

JACOB K. JAVITS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

JAMES MADISON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

“Junior Fellowships are awarded to students who are about to complete, or have completed, their undergraduate course of study and plan to begin graduate work on a full-time basis. Junior Fellows have two years to complete their degree. Senior Fellowships are awarded to teachers who wish to undertake work for a graduate degree on a part-time basis through summer and evening classes. Senior Fellows have up to five years to complete their degree.”

KATE NEAL KINLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

“The 76th Annual competition for the Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Scholarship is being announced. Three fellowships are offered, 2 of which are open to students of architecture, one for $20,000 and one for $6,000. The foundation each year awards 55 scholarships to students who are pursuing careers related to environmental public policy or to Native American or Alaska Native students who are pursuing careers related to health care or tribal public policy. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, room, and board, up to a maximum of $5,000. To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, students must be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens, must be sophomores or juniors, and must be in the top one-fourth of their class, earning at least a 3.0 GPA

The National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholarships offer a unique opportunity for U.S. undergraduates to study abroad. The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarships program is to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries. The program sponsors several types of scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for qualified professionals pursuing vocational studies. While abroad, scholars serve as ambassadors of goodwill to the people of the host country and give presentations about their homelands to Rotary clubs and other groups.

Whitaker Fellows are biomedical engineers (or bioengineers) ranging from graduating seniors to those conducting doctoral studies. Applicants should have a BS or MS degree in biomedical engineering.
