systems. Sorry, no support is
available for beta operating systems.
*Some assistance for unsupported operating systems (including Windows
95/98/ME/NT/2000 and Linux) may be available.
However, supported operating systems will be given precedence and
unsupported operating systems will be assigned a lower priority.
We REQUIRE that an antivirus program be installed prior to registering for network access. PLU provides a free program that is available for download at www.plu.edu/antivirus. This link will also be made available to you at the end of the registration process.
We RECOMMEND that you regularly check for updates for your system by downloading patches, upgrades, and utilities from windowsupdate.microsoft.com or www.apple.com (depending on the type of computer you have).
We RECOMMEND that the OS recovery CDs are brought with the student to campus in the event that the machine would need to be repaired or reinstalled.
